Origins is a New Zealand company that has developed a honey track and trace system that the entire industry can use called OAYE. Not only does OAYE improve product data transfer, it integrates with laboratories, government food safety and traceability systems, existing inventory management systems and transport and logistics operators.

The OAYE system also enables manufacturers to better engage with their customers and offer a cost effect way to communicate their provenance story. Product authentication and anti-counterfeiting is achieved by a 3-tier system including custom product seals, 2D datamatrix codes and NFC technology.
